Il modo corretto di procedere con il rituale dell’assenzio tradizionale con la Fontana per assenzio globe è di versare 3 cl di assenzio in un bicchiere, quindi posizionare un cucchiaio da assenzio sul bicchiere e una zolletta di zucchero sul cucchiaio(usare lo zucchero non è obbligatorio). Si toglie il coperchio della fontana e si aggiungono acqua fresca e cubetti di ghiaccio nella ciotola di vetro. Si gira leggermente il rubinetto e l’acqua ghiacciata scorre lentamente dalla fontana sulla zolletta di zucchero. L’acqua fredda dello zucchero gocciola quindi dal cucchiaio nel bicchiere di assenzio, rilasciando oli e profumando l’aria con finocchio, assenzio maggiore e anice. La combinazione inizia anche ad assumere un colore bianco lattiginoso quando l’acqua si mescola con l’anice. Rinfrescare l’acqua prima di ogni utilizzo.

La fontana per assenzio globe è dotata di due rubinetti. E’ realizzata in vetro soffiato a mano ed è perfetta per versare l’acqua utilizzata nel tradizionale rituale dell’assenzio. Girando il rubinetto della fontana, la quantità d’acqua può variare da un lento gocciolio a un leggero getto. Può contenere 2 bicchieri alla volta. Misura circa 41,9 cm di altezza (con il coperchio). Spazio di circa 21 cm sotto i rubinetti. Contiene circa 0,96 litri. Il materiale della fontana per assenzio globe è in vetro borosilicato leggero e trasparente soffiato a bocca.
