The Absinthe Barrel Aged 1935 La Clandestine is a 6 year barrel aged version using the base of their hugely popular Absinthe! The distillate releases an incredible scent of licorice, vanilla, brown sugar and a little caramel! All the aromas from the oak barrel used in the aging process really take center stage! Once the water is poured, the scents of mint and many other herbaceous smells arrive. The scent becomes more intense after the first few drops. This is one absinthe you could sit sniffing for a long time and travel in its scents!! An atypical absinthe to drink with very little water or even without!!!
