Absinthe La Clandestine Verte Angélique
After two successful years with its products, the distillery Artemisia Bugnon was the first to put a Absinthe Green colored with natural plants. His name, Absinthe La Clandestine Verte Angélique, comes from the use of the Angelica root and also because it is the first name of the producer's daughter.
It was produced in response to the request of customers who prefer a stronger herbaceous scent and less hint of aniseed. The color is obtained by maceration of absinthe distillate with green aromatic plants. After filtration, the macerate is added to the distilled absinthe to give a light green color.
Tasting tips: La Clandestine Verte Angélique absinthe can be drunk with a little sugar according to the traditional method. Serve 3cl of absinthe to which we will add 11-12 cl of fresh water, so we will have an alcohol content of approximately 14% vol in the glass. On the nose you can smell the artemisia in an overbearing way, accompanied by a multitude of aromas that testify to the richness of the plants used. Our German-Swiss friends prefer to drink Angélique with very little water, a bit like grappa. It's very surprising and very interesting. Excellent lasting finish. Tasty bitterness (more pronounced than the "classic" Swiss absinthes)

Absinthe La Clandestine Blanche “Charlotte”
Made with an authentic recipe from 1935, La Clandestine absinthe was one of the first absinthes distilled in Val-de-Travers when the "bleue" was legalized on March 1, 2005. This recipe was given to Claude-Alain in 2001 from the nephew of the famous aunt Charlotte who was a "clandestine" distiller known in Couvet.
More than ten plants make up the blend, including wormwood grown in Val-de-Travers. Its main characteristics: a Blanche with a fine aromatic balance and a persistent bitterness. Serving 3cl of Clandestine with 11-12cl of very cold water will bring the alcohol content of the absinthe to 11% vol, an ideal value to have a good return of aromas with a light bitter finish. A glass of Clandestine is equivalent to 14cl of white wine!!

Absinthe Butterfly
Butterfly Absinthe was created from the recipe of American absinthe produced in Boston before prohibition in the early 1900s. It is through the unusual partnership of an American absinthe enthusiast and our distillery that it has been brought back to life. Effectively, Brian Fernald, of Boston, managed to find a goldmine of documents, including annotated recipe books. Following these discoveries, he began searching for a distillery to bring this Butterfly absinthe back to life. Absinthe Butterfly It is characterized by its power and its complex aromatic variety, focused in particular on citrus fruits and spices. We therefore find in particular notes of lemons, mandarins or even mint. If its profile is exotic, it still leaves a significant place for the Val-de-Travers absinthe plant. An absinthe Swiss-American who has everything to seduce! Tasting Tips: First, enjoy your sugar-free Butterfly. So if you want, add it. For one dose of absinthe (3cl), add 2 to 5 doses of fresh water.
