Absinthe Henri is the first absinthe created by Christian Pascolutti after years of research. Henri is an “Absinthe de Dessert”, with pastry notes such as cream, butter and white chocolate as well as a classic base of green anise, absinthe and sweet fennel. It is produced with carefully selected natural ingredients to obtain a sweet and balanced aroma and a creamy louche. The name Henri is a tribute to Christian's grandfather, who had suggested it for himself, and to the famous Henri Louis Pernod, a pioneer of the commercial production of absinthe. For the first batch, each bottle includes a sample of butter biscuits to enjoy with absinthe – this is just one of many possible pairings with Henri's traditional, creamy flavour! Production in available quantities of 60 bottles in Europe.
